    A Guide to the Plugins of
    The Intersnout Server!

    [IMG]

    Spigot is our core, it is what our server runs on, think Craftbukkit.... BUT BETTER. It's more customization and runs a lot smoother.

    You as the player really don't need to worry about this, the admins do so yeh... forget bout it.

    Essentials Wiki

    Essentials is also a core element of the average Minecraft server, it provides benefits like many new commands, shortened names for commands, homes, private messaging and permissions related stuffs.

    You can use people's shortened names when teleporting.
    use /tpa {playername}
    Example: /tpa snake (if i'm the only person with "snake" in their name on the server)

    If we were using essentials for messaging we'd have access to the same shortened names.
    use /msg {playername}
    and /r
    Example: /msg snake hey you gots my moneys..
    /r (r is reply and doesnt need their name)

    Currently it looks like we're using the Boomerang Home plugin but the commands should be relatively the same.

    If we were using the homes of Essentials, players would have access to these commands:

    • /sethome (sets 1 home if you havent already set a home with a name )(will override if you've already made a named home)
      • /sethome {name} (Intersnout has a max of two homes set for players)
    • /home (teleports you to your home, if you have only 1 home)
      • /home {name} (you can also use /home 1 and /home 2 when you have set a different name for each home)
    • /delhome (to remove your home)
      • /delhome {name} (removes a specific home)

    Lockette is what we use to protect the containers and doors of our world, if you want to protect your shit, put a lockette sign on it.

    A Lockette sign works with pretty much any container, and all types of doors.
    It also allows you to click an iron door like you would a wooden door and have it open.

    To make a chest or door locked:
    1. Hold shift and place a sign on the side of a chest, or place the sign on the block directly above or below the door.
    2. First line of the sign type [Private]
    3. The second line will automatically auto fill your own name there.
    4. you can add someone else's name on the third or fourth line or [everyone] to allow all players to open that chest/door.
    5. Fourth line, if you haven't added someones name you can add [timer:2] to have a door automatically close after a short period of time.
    6. If you have more then 2 people to allow to open the chest or door, you can place another sign on the right hand side of the first with [more users] on the first line.
    Remember kids.... lock your shit or someones gonna steal it. Yes even your toilet bowl isn't safe.

    Chestshop @ spigotmc.org

    Our economy is a mysterious process where money comes in at the bank and then eventually ends up in KevynM's pocket, but somewhere in between that process you might get some money for your self that you can use on residences or buying at Chestshops.

    A Chestshop is a sign on the side of a chest that will sell/buy the goods in the chest, if you have the money you can buy from the chest, or if you have the items you can sell to the chest.

    How to read a Chestshop sign:
    • First line {Playersname}
    • Second line {amount of items to buy/sell}
    • Third line {b for Buy, S for Sell. price of the amount listed above}
    • Third line {what item that's being bought/sold}
    How to buy:
    1. Read the sign, note how many items it sells you with one click, note the price.
    2. LEFT click the sign.
    3. It will tell you that you bought that item for that price, if you don't have enough money it'll tell you. etc..
    How to sell to a Chestshop:
    1. Read the sign, note how many items it buys from you with one click, note the price.
    2. RIGHT click the sign.
    3. It will tell you that you sold those items for that price, if you don't have enough items it'll tell you. etc..
    Creating your own Chestshop:
    1. Hold the desired item to sell in your hand, type /iteminfo and note that item name and code.
    2. Place a chest in your store.
    3. Hold shift and place a sign on that chest.
    4. First line will automatically auto fill your name.
    5. Second line, enter in the quantity of items to sell to the customer each time they click on the sign.
    6. Third line type:
      1. OPTION A : B<price for player to buy from you>:<price for you to buy from the player>S
        • EXAMPLE: B10:20S
      2. OPTION B : (single option buy or sell) B<price for player to buy from you
        • EXAMPLE: B10
    7. Last line enter the code or name of the item as from step 1.
    8. Fill your chest with your stock for sale.
    9. $$$ Profit :D.
    Top Tips
    • Fill the chest full if you don't want people selling to it. (you don't even need to fill the chest with the same item.. fill it with garbage if you want to.).
    • Fill the chest 3/4 full if you want people to buy from you, but still want to have people sell to you.
    • Do some research of other peoples shops, get competitive with the prices.
    • Don't make a Chestshop if you're too lazy to stock, people sell to Chestshops a whole lot less than they buy.
    • Make a catchy name for your shop; Costco, Kmart, Target, etc.. are all good names to use cause they're already memorable.

    We have a Dynmap, a map of our world that has live updates, and shows player positions, chat and markers.

    You can make the markers for yourself, its easy.
    1. Place a sign somewhere in the world
    2. First line [dynmap]
    3. Second and Third line are for you to label the marker
    4. Fourth line can have an icon set, type icon:{marker} (all the different names of {markers} are listed here)
    [IMG]
    1. place a sign at the bottom of where you need an elevator
      • on the second line of that sign [lift up]
      • third line can be a label like "floor 1"
    2. find your way up to the top of where you want your elevator, make sure you are in the same x, and z coordinate, place a sign
      • the top sign needs to read [lift down]
      • the top sign needs to be directly above the bottom sign
      • blocks inbetween the two signs dont matter, but you will need a space in front of both signs for you to stand
    3. clicking that sign should send you up or down to the other sign
      • if it doesn't work, you're most likely obstructed by a block where your character will be at the other sign, or you haven't lined the signs up vertically

    Enjoy Snoutopians.
